About
Fifteen years from now I'll still be doing this.
The long version of the bio, for anyone who wants it.
I walked into CrossFit Barbell Republic as an athlete in 2016 and never really left. By 2019 I was coaching, and today I coach nine classes a week — early mornings, the 11:30 open box, and the afternoon slots — while training for the Masters 55-59 division myself. I've done the CrossFit Open every year, and every year it finds something new I can't do yet. That's the point.
On the credential side: CF-L3 — the only one in Grayson County — with specialty work in CrossFit Kids, Masters, and pregnant & postpartum training, and the CF-L4 on the calendar. I volunteer at the CrossFit Games; in 2026 I worked the Special Assignments crew in San Jose.
Outside the gym: I served ten years on the Denison City Council, and my family runs a flooring business that's been part of Texoma for decades. My wife Sherry and I live in Denison with an Australian Shepherd named Atlas who is more popular than either of us.

That's the bio.
If any of it sounds like a conversation worth having, I'm easy to reach.
